Best of the Mad House

Now I know that while I publish a post every day many of you don’t have the time (or the inclination) to drop in every day and see what’s new, so today I’m going to make it easy for you. Here’s a round up of the week. The best bits, as they say on various reality shows.

The week started off with the 10 Beautiful Rooms post which had a definite bluesy tinge to it this week. This was one of my favourite images as I just loved the combination of that strong blue with the brass and leather.

Tuesday was all about my Joss and Main Sale on Urban Glamour. The sale has finished now but the principle of that style remains the same and, of course, you can still sign up to join the site if you like. They have some really good stuff at great discounts.

Wednesday’s post was about these gorgeous industrial shelves which are so simple and really, really stylish. I would love them in either a kitchen or a bathroom. Or even a home office come to that.

Then it was time to revisit one of my favourite designers Rory Dobner who is launching a new website with lots of new designs next week, before a little fantasy house hunting. I can’t afford the houses but I would definitely like a plant this size in my kitchen.

Finally, we rounded off the week with a virtual trip to a rather lovely little shop in Islington, but they’re online too and you might enjoy a browse if you were thinking of buying anyone any presents for any reason any time soon…. know what I mean.

  1. Is there a certain technique or paint used to paint the cabinet blue? Do you know the maker and color of the paint used for the cabinet.
    Thanks
