Time for a bit of fantasy sofa shopping. Well, fantasy for most of us that is, unless you happen to have arrived at that point in life where it really is time for a new one. This might be because the children have finally stopped jumping on it, spilling Ribena and smearing banana and it’s, frankly, knackered. Or because those cushions have finally sagged past the point of no return and your Mother-in-Law can no longer get up once she’s sat down. Which does have the advantage of keeping her in one place but isn’t perhaps, quite kind.
Whatever your reasons/justification, a new sofa is probably an investment piece and one that you don’t want to get wrong as you will have to live with it for a long time. Here are some to give you an idea.
