Now that the loft is so nearly done, it’s time to look for rugs. It’s basically black and white and wood up there so I’m looking for something that won’t stray to far from that but will bring a little extra zing to the party. This rug from Westelm looks like it might be a strong contender.
Made in India, it’s handwoven in a Fair Trade facility so that each purchase directly benefits the person who made it. It comes in two sizes and, as I always say, buy the biggest you can afford, or fit into the space.
The large size here is 244 by 305cm and costs £499 – it’s 60 per cent cotton and 40 per cent wool, now I just have to decide if this is the one. What do you think?
I would go for it (as in I really would love a rug like that)
Think it’s ‘you’ to a tee! Subtle nod to the pop of colour you’ve been gravitating to over the last few posts
