The Book Bath

Kellybook Bath (2)
The KellyBook bath from Alternative Bathrooms

Oh look at this. And on a Saturday morning too. I don’t know about you but despite the fact that there is a large and luxurious free-standing bath in my house I never ever take a bath. But I probably think about it quite often.

A bath is, these days, for most of us a weekend sort of thing. Something to do when there’s plenty of time and nowhere else to be. Where you can lie back and relax with, perhaps a glass of wine (or a cup of tea depending on the time of day), listen to the radio (4 for me, probably something a little more modern for you) and take a leisurely browse through a magazine or a book.

the book bath can be either free-standing or semi-recessed

And then I found this. The KellyBook bath from Alternative Bathrooms can be either free-standing or semi-recessed and the shelves come in a wide range of finishes including lacquer so you can find one that’s the right colour for your space.

Because, at a fairly hefty £7858 it’s going to need to fit with the existing decor methinks. Anyway, leaving the price aside have a happy weekend and here’s to reading away a lazy afternoon in the bath.

Enjoy.

  1. Very lovely bath, but probably not for those with kids…. books and water and kids – not the best combo!
