Calico Wallpaper

I think I’ve found my next wallpaper. That’s probably all I need to say. I could just sign off here and leave you with these images. It is Sunday after all. You’re probably craving a little peace and quiet. I’ll type quietly then, just while I tell you about it.

It’s made by a company called Calico Wallpaper, based in Brooklyn, New York (it’s ok they ship to the UK). Calico is Rachel and Nicholas, she’s a sculpture graduate and he has his own design and build firm.

And that’s really about all you need to know. The papers are gorgeous metallic, marbled designs and I love the dark navy and gold version, Night, as well as the one below. That gold one above looks amazing too but imagine it teamed with a dark grey wall…. that looks better doesn’t it?

We have one wall of paper in the bedroom on the false wall that hides the wardrobe/dressing room. It’s a gorgeous deep dark purple teamed with Farrow and Ball Pelt in the ensuite bathroom. I have been hankering after something navy or blue/black for a while but hadn’t found anything that sings to me.
