I hope you’re not offended by this if you’re reading over breakfast (or at any time come to that) but I think it’s rather brilliant. You all know that I like a bit of wit in interiors. It’s good to bring in something that raises a smile, or is a little bit different from the usual and the smallest room in the house is definitely a place you can have fun with the decor. After all, you’re not in there for that long so it won’t ever be overwhelming.
My own downstairs loo is painted completely in blackboard paint with a disco glitter ball hanging from the ceiling. It always makes for entertaining reading the morning after the night before let’s put it that way. I know someone else who went a step further and tracked down a black loo and basin for his cloakroom, which has, not only black walls and a ceiling but the floor as well. That’s actually quite tricky to negotiate until you’ve found the light switch.
This, on the other hand, is actually rather stylish. And it beats just leaving the multipack on the floor. Or worse, in the cupboard whee you can’t reach it easily. This concrete shelf costs £115 and takes a minimum of seven rolls. After that it’s up to you how you style your cloud. And at least this one won’t rain on you – unlike the serried ranks of those in the sky at the time of writing.
