Copper Cafe Chairs

Saturday breakfast. The one day of the week (well ok one of two) when you can afford to laze around over breakfast. Put jam on your toast. Have a second cup of coffee. Slowly. And laze about with the morning papers in French cafe bistro style.

These simple chairs go rather well with that fantasy don’t they. They’re from the new collection at Cox and Cox and cost £199 a pair. I love both the copper and the grey but, more than that, I sense a time when the walls in my kitchen will be going navy blue….

  1. I am loving copper at the moment. I find it more contemporary than brass. Love these chairs, and they work so well with the darker blues and greys.

And as for the inky blues, I love them too. I have used Farrow & Ball Stiffkey in a couple of rooms in the house and I adore it.

Kate, Stiffkey would be great in your kitchen – Wimborne and Cornforth Whites complement it perfectly!
