Gilded Dapper Animal Plates

So it’s that time of year and frankly, if you can’t have fun with yer crockery at Christmas then when can you?

I love these plates. They’re from Westelm and it’s not just the monochrome with the gold touches but the expressions on their faces – particularly the owl and the penguin.

If you don’t fancy the plates then there are mugs too and even tea towels. They’re based on drawings of real animals which designer Rachel Kozlowski then dressed and accessorised to give them all their own characters.

Know what I would do? Buy the set of four tea towels for £36 and then divide it up and give one tea towel and one mug as presents. I like how the towels are slightly different from the mugs and that would make a really great gift.

There you go! Happy shopping people.
