It has been a year of ups and downs: the blog received over a million hits, I was rather unwell. The blog didn’t win an award, I am about to make a full recovery. I didn’t write a book, I did set up an interior consulting business. And had clients. I didn’t lose that last 10lbs but, finally and here’s the big one: I don’t care.

And so I wish all of you all the very best in 2015 and I hope we will continue to meet here every day as we have done this year. I love to read your comments, keep them coming and if you don’t have time to pop in to the Mad House then you will find me on Twitter  and Pinterest and perhaps this year I may even take up Instagram too.

  1. Hi Kate, thanks for your blog! It’s interesting, varied and unpretentious. Though I live far from home in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, your posts inspire me with great interiors ideas and links to other design sites. Much appreciated. Wishing you all the best for 2015!

  2. Happy new year to you also Kate. Thanks for the daily inspiring posts -I am looking forward to using some ideas in 2015 as I return to my house after 6 years travelling.
Wishing you a healthy, Happy New Year full of adventures, continuing inspiration and that book started!
    Best
