The Home Collection from Malene Birger

marlene birger monochrome

As a longtime fan of Malene Birger’s clothes I was excited to learn that the Danish designer has now turned her hand to interiors. Inspired by her love for African and Asian cultures and influenced by her passion for 1970s design, the collection is full of strong monochromatic themes with an opulent feel.

Birger 1962 was launched at the recent Maison et Objet show in Paris and includes everything from furniture and lighting to cushions and smaller accessories.

The range is enormous with a glass retailing for around €17 and a room divider for €4,800 with pretty much everything in between.

Now if she can do interiors, when is Topshop going to start?
