Metamorphosis Animal Plates

There’s something about this china set that just really appeals to me and I’m not sure I know what it is. I posted at the end of last week about a set of cushions by Cygnus Papilio which have been described as a Victorian Acid Trip and these are perhaps in a similar vein.

I like the idea of having them in an ultra modern setting rather than a traditional one where some of their wit might be lost. They would also look great hung on a wall as decoration and not necessarily used for food.

They’re part of a set designed by Mrs Moore’s Vintage Studio called New Vintage. The other is Alice in Wonderland and you can buy them from White Mint, a new store which opened earlier this year.
