Home Barn new look book

Today we’re going to take a rest from all that domestic detoxing. I don’t know about you but I’m exhausted just thinking about it all. I haven’t actually done any, you understand. Anyway, it’s Sunday and I thought it would be lovely to just have a quiet browse through these lovely pictures from Home Barn’s first look book.

The book, Living With Vintage, is a collaboration between Caroline Davis, interior stylist and blogger at Trend Daily and Sarah and Sally Wilkie of Home Barn. They’re hoping these pictures will inspire you to bring a little vintage into your home.

The two love mixing vintage with a botanical feel as these pictures show.

I first became aware of Home Barn last year on twitter and was immediately drawn to the way they style their products which makes them so much more inviting. The barn is also styled to resemble room sets too so it’s much easier to imagine the stuff in your own house.

Caroline took all these pictures and they have also inspired me to try a little harder at taking good photographs. Yesterday I went to a workshop at Westelm UK which was run by Emily Quinton , a professional photographer who teaches her skills to others. Here is my first attempt.

  1. Thanks for sharing. I visited friends in Cookham last May and we paid a visit to Home Barn. I love their store and was only able to bring a few small items back with me to Canada in my suitcase.
