Nearly there people, nearly there. The end of January is in sight at last. Whether you have been domestically detoxing, dieting or drinking with defiance, it’s time to stop now. Put your feet up and relax.

I rather love this ottoman covered with natural jute with a geometric design. Perfect for resting both feet and an enticing pile of magazines while you congratulate yourself on getting through this month.

I have to say, I wasn’t having a problem with January until so many people started complaining about how terrible it was that I ended up joining in. Well, enough of that. It’s nearly the end of the week and the end of the month and then it’s February. And this year it starts on a Saturday – that, my friends, is a sign that it’s time for a glass of wine.

As I say … nearly there.

    1. Oh dear Steuart, I’m sorry if I touched a nerve. I know there’s tax and bills and so on I merely meant that we’re nearly at the end of a month when all the horrid stuff has to be done. But it’s nearly over and then you can put your feet up and dream up some wonderful new designs.
