The weather may not quite have got the message about Spring yet, but the shops certainly have, and every day there are press releases and pictures of the new collections.

I just love these from Folklore which should be coming online soon. I have featured this gorgeous north London store before when I posted about their ceramic collection, but I make no apologies for returning. Founded by Rob and Danielle Reid in 2012, they look for functional pieces that are created with care and made to last.

They stock everything from tables and chairs to lighting and accessories. Go off and have a weekend browse, at least you won’t have to put your wellies on.

  1. I love the cable lights, infact I love the whole ‘lights on pulleys’ effect – but living in a 160 yr old cottage with seriously low ceilings means it’s out of scope for me.

    1. Yes that’s the problem isn’t it. I really wanted pendants lights in our kitchen but the ceiling was too low. Still, there are amazing wall lights around these days so all is not lost.
