This shade of pink is one of my favourite colours and these blush plates would look fabulous on my newly painted grey kitchen shelves. They’re part of a set from the newly relaunched Ebury Home and Garden.

These cups are also part of the collection. They’re great for coffee and tea but also, since they are microwave and dishwasher proof, they’d would look divine with a chocolate mousse inside. Or perhaps some nibbles – imagine some green olives in the pink one, or some black ones in the grey.

Ebury was set up by Hannah Gooch in 2011. She worked as a stylist for many years as part of the creative team at John Lewis, and selects everything for the site personally. She said: “I try to chose products that have rural influences but with a contemporary twist and keep to a neutral colour palette of earthy tones. I’m going to be adding to the collection with products made from natural materials including wood, ceramics and glass.”

Hannah’s careful eye means that the whole collection goes together beautifully and tends to mean that if you like one thing you are going to like them all. Which may not please the bank manager quite as much as it pleases you.
