Objects Of Design #135: French Bull Serving Platter

Melamine like you’ve never seen it before

Still singing the praises of melanine, today Mad About The House brings you this fabulously pattern serving dish. French Bull was launched in 2002 when Jackie Shapiro, a graphic designer, who had worked for Fiorucci in Milan, started to put her distinctive designs onto hard-wearing melamine, which had previously been produced only in plain colours and given to children as they couldn’t break it. Suddenly plastic was popular and you can see why. Try w2products as yesterday for a good selection.
