Objects of Design #150: Carafe and Drinking Glasses

If you are a fan of white crockery (as I am) then you can afford to introduce a little pattern elsewhere and these glasses are perfect for that. Made from recycled glass, they are pleasingly heavy and contrast well with the ultra plain carafe.

They’re from Nkuku, a company that works to promote and develop the traditional skills of the artisans, as well as developing a sustainable business.

There are lots of lovely things on the site so go and have a browse if you don’t need glasses. Mind you at £4.95 each, it might be foolish not to snap them up.
