Objects of Design #157: Bathroom Shelving

This is one of those bathroom pieces that, in the right setting, will look a lot more expensive that it was. I would resist the temptation to buy the full range and, instead, pick the one piece that is the most useful for you and just have that.

perfect for towels and bottles

My preference would probably be this tall unit which is perfect for towels and bathmats on the bottom shelves and all those bottles and pots that seem to accumulate above.

The shelves are removeable so you don’t have to have them all if you don’t need that many, or you can keep them all and try and allocate one per person. But don’t necessarily assume that the 12-year-old boy will want less space than his sister.

  1. I love it – wish I had space in my minute bathroom for it – but I would love it even more if it didn’t have the curly scrollwork at the top.

  2. I have that tall unit kate. Used to be in my bathroom but currently in my living room due to lack of space but looks equally good. Such great quality and value. I highly recommend it 🙂
