Trolleys are perfect in bathrooms as you can just move them about to where you want them to be. Admittedly, you may not need to do this very often, but if you are taking the time to have one of those all too rare baths, then you can load this up with the radio, the towels, the book, the candle and the wine and everything is at arm’s length. There’s nothing worse than sinking into a hot bath and realising that the towel is out of reach.

I know all these lovely Objects of Design this month are bathroomy – but I use something similar to this trolley for veggies in the kitchen. Quite useful for that if you think of sacks of spuds, long leeks, butternut squashes. So – a dual use??? And you can trundle it around!
You’re absolutely right, Jill.Trolleys are great in kitchens too. I’m also a big fan of this Raskog trolley which featured as an earlier Object of Design and which, it has to be said, is somewhat cheaper.
