When I was doing up my shower room (in black and white since you ask) I searched high and low for a black bath mat. For some reason there were masses of bright colours and even lots of pastel but it was hard to find monochrome.
Eventually, for those who like the details, I found a small black one in John Lewis and a large white one in Ikea. The Ikea one is wonderfully thick, which is great when it’s being used but rather a nightmare in winter when it needs washing and can take an age to dry. Just thought I’d point that out.
Anyway, I was thrilled when I saw this from the new H&M home collection. It’s plain grey with a pattern on it and although at this price (£7.99) it won’t be the thickest mat you’ve ever trodden on, it will absorb most of the drops and dry more quickly when it needs a wash.
