So how’s this for an idea? A flexible basin. No, I’m not sure I quite know why either but here at Mad, we like to bring you news of new and er Mad ideas when we find them so here you are.
It’s available from Panik Design and was designed by Italian Monica Graffeo who said it had taken many, many experiments to create it.
“The bathroom is the place where our body is related in an important way with the physicality of the objects,” she said. “Everybody gets comfort and pleasure by the contact with soft objects. This wash basin offers pleasant sensations!”
Graffeo is the art director of Geelli who make a lot of cool products from polyurethane gel. Check out their website and see. And if you want the basin it’s £490.
Now a soft bath like that – how wonderful would that be! (Though perching on the edge could have disastrous results!)
