Objects Of Design #185: Child’s Cushion Art

Turn your child’s drawing into a cushion

This is such a great idea to preserve a child’s drawing. We’ve all framed one or two of the best ones, but Jenny Inglis has gone one step further; she turns them into cushions. So the next time, Poppy or Jimmy sketches the family you can immortalise everyone in cushion form.

In addition to the drawings, Jenny has recently begun a line of cushions featuring images taken from photograps. Mad About The House was thrilled to be the guinea pig for this new line and here is my cushion below:

  1. Hi Kate,

Lovely to see some children’s things – very much my bag.

I wanted to say hi – I thought you might like some things on my toy website. It’s nice toys. French and Scandinavian mainly. https://www.cottontailsbaby.co.uk

ps Your architect post – a wry smile. We are part way through a build at the mo and it’s all a bit familiar…
