I have to admit that I am not generally fan of the coaster/trivet/mat call it what you will. But these caught my eye as they are so pretty and I rather love the slightly chipped and not quite pristine state of them. They’re small, so are really for glasses but there’s nothing to stop you putting all four together in a larger square and using them for a hot pan or casserole dish. It does, after all, look nicer than using the nearest magazine or newspaper.
