Objects Of Design #214: Wall Mounted Magazine Rack

divide the shelves into subjects

Now, obviously technically this is a magazine rack but sometimes it pays to think laterally. Why not fix one shelf per subject next to teenager’s desk and get them to keep all the relevant exercise books and text books in the right place. Then they just need to check the timetable and tip the right books into the bag and away they go. That must be better than a random pile at the end of the bed with the most important book somewhere completely different that they can’t quite remember where and if you’d get off their case they’d be more likely to remember. Innit?
