Steuart Padwick launched his company in 2009 specialising in lighting, furniture and product design and he has been a regular at 100% Design, part of the London Design Festival, ever since.

I’m a huge fan of his lights and was thrilled for Steuart when he told me the other day that his Sticks lights are now available in John Lewis.

The oiled oak wood light uses a counter balance to position the lamp and there’s a gorgeous silk flex too, which makes such a difference to the final product.

In addition to the Sticks, Steuart has also made the Skinny Float light which has a dimmable LED light and you can adjust the height of the shade either up or down to suit the job in hand.

Steuart is no stranger to this blog; he comments regularly, and I have also featured his rather wonderfully named Belly Desk on these pages before.

I hope you like his lights as much as I do.
