Objects Of Design #222: Reversible Kaleidoscope Quilt

The use of bright colours in muted tones makes this perfect for autumn nights

At this time of year an extra layer is often needed and this colourful, yet muted, patchwork quilt will go with most colour schemes. It’s reversible but, I think, the other side is a slightly nondescript flower pattern, so I would always go for this pattern.

It fits up to a Queen size bed but it doesn’t necessarily need to hang down over the sides so you could probably get away with draping it on a King size.

The autumnal colours and geometric patterns are perfect for this time of year and, dare I say, it looks a lot more expensive than it is.

  1. Fabulous! Especially for those of us who’ve harboured a desire to make a quilt but never quite got round to it!.
    Thank you for sharing!

  2. Great pattern. I agree on the other side though – from what I can see in this picture it looks very grandmother like.

It’s a shame that they couldn’t come up with something that at least complemented this pattern.
