Objects Of Design #252: Favourite Things Pendant

these are a few of my favourite things

We’re all curators now. This unusual pendant light allows you to reach in through the side and insert your favourite objects, which are then beautifully highlighted from above without spoiling the light source in the room below. Possibly one of the few situations when you can be glad the ceilings aren’t as high as you would have liked originally because otherwise you wouldn’t be able to see what was in there.

Choose from either mustard, charcoal or cloud (pictured) shades and the rest is up to you.

What would you put in yours?

You must use it with a low energy or LED bulb though.

  1. wow, there’s not much new under the sun with interiors as far as I can tell, so this innovation is seriously impressive, and novel! You could alternate the contents with the seasons, marking various holidays in the year (though a pancake for shrove Tuesday could be ill-advised)
