Objects of Design #53: Pharoah Pendant Light

The beautifully twisty Plumen 001 bulb was everywhere last year and now there is an equally lovely shade to go with it for those who feel that a naked bulb will never be quite right.

This deceptively simply shade looks like a mirror when the light is off and looks like a plain reflective, or silver mirrored shade, but when turned on, it becomes transparent providing a perfect frame to the bulb inside.

It’s a rather beautiful object and, here at Mad About The House, we’re so ahead of ourselves that you can’t even buy it yet, but don’t worry, it comes into stores next month, so you’ve got a little bit of time to fall even more in love with it.
