Wood and Chrome Floor Lamp

The search for a curved floor lamp for the loft has been thwarted. The problem being that once I had laid eyes on the Arco then nothing else would do. And it’s £1500. So, as I say, thwarted. Arco-lamp

The search for an alternative begins. And this, from outthereinteriors, is rather pleasing. I like how, in complete contrast to the Arco, it doesn’t soar loftily overhead, but appears to have sidled up to for a sneaky peek over your shoulder at what you are reading.

Not, in my case, Roget’s Thesaurus, but that aside, this lamp feels like a friendly reading companion. It’s quite masculine in style and the polished metal shade pivots round to be at the angle you need.

What do you think? Do you like this lamp?
