Wooden Peg Board

I have been hanging back on the peg board trend because I haven’t, until now, found one that I love. But then I did. This is by Swiss-born designer Nikki Kreis, who has worked in New York, Berlin and Sydney but is now based in London.

The natural one at the top is finished in Danish oil and I like the slightly larger, more spaced out holes, that she has used. They’re also big, which is important. I can’t be doing with itsy bitsy small things. If I’ve paid for it and I’m going to use it I want it to make its presence felt.

Nikki has also included shelves, a mini clipboard and a choice of peg designs so that you can customise your board to make it work best for you. I’m now racked with indecision about whether I want white or natural.

Or, perhaps, running true to form… black.

Which would you choose? They’re available from Kreis Design and prices start at £124 for the midi version which measures 42cm by 114cm.
