Isn’t this such a pretty light? It was inspired by an ammonite fossil and comes in two sizes and finishes. It was designed by the Portuguese designer Hugo Ribeiro who graduated only two years ago and has already won masses of awards.

The Ammonite costs €90 for the small version and €190 for the larger one. You can guess which one I want. The shapes will throw really interesting shadows onto the wall behind. In fact, it would make a great wall light, as it wouldn’t stick out too far from the wall making it great for smaller rooms and, crucially, would still look good during the day when turned off.

Now, which wall should I put it on?

  3. Hi Kate

I really like the small version of this light but how do you suppose you install it as a wall light?
