The Capsule Collection from Folklore

TABLE LONG 1 LR

For those of you who haven’t come across Folklore before it’s a home and lifestyle store based on the simple premise that we live better through good design. It’s a philosophy I explored in a piece I wrote for The Financial Times about Denmark and how they believe that good design leads to happiness.

The store stocks a wide range of functional goods that are made to last, with care and, crucially, beautifully designed. It’s the antithesis of the buy cheap buy twice culture and while their pieces may cost a little bit more, they will last you for ever.

And, because they are so simple and well designed, you should never get tired of looking at them either.

The store has now decided to launch a core collection of pieces that will always be in stock. This is in advance of its own brand range, which is coming in the Autumn and which, based on their core and seasonal pieces, should be amazing.

Danielle Reid, the co-founder of Folklore, said: “Each item is selected for its simplicity, durability, craftsmanship and quality. The resulting edit sums up the Folklore brand aesthetic.”
