Cotton Storage Baskets in Monochrome and Coral

So ever since I ran the post of new paint colour combinations last week, I find I have been looking at colour with a far more concentrated eye. The runaway favourite of the colours was this basalt and marigold from Little Greene.

So, you can imagine when I saw the Waves collection from Caslon and Co which is all black, white and coral that I thought you might like it too.

The company create their patterns using vintage wooden printing blocks which were traditionally used by printers to add decorative flare to books and posters, usually on vintage circus and music hall posters.

The collection includes cushions, seat pads, door stops and storage pots and baskets. I could just imagine one of the baskets in the room above. What do you think?

Everything is also made in the UK. There is also a vintage collection but I liked this one best.

And, in a little update I’m delighted to say that I have just added their cushions to my Great.ly shop under UK makers, do go and have a browse, there are some great designers there.

  1. I’ve been thinking about nothing but that very colour combo ever since your post! Been procrastinating about how to tackle my bedroom decor which is bleurghhh and that image is now my inspiration. Husband doesn’t know yet…l.

    1. Oh it’s going to look stunning! Also it’s dark/black/grey/manly with what you can tell him is orange. Not pink/coral at all. It’s practically a sacrifice on your part to do it in those colours for him ….
      Good luck.
