As I sit here once again with builders in three different rooms and the kitchen crammed into the living room, it seems like a good moment to say that I will be mostly lying down for the rest of half term. When I return next week the bathroom will be finished, the boiler replaced and the kitchen underway.  I wish you all well whatever you are doing this week and I’ll see you on Monday. I will have completed another turn around the sun and promise to bring all the accrued wisdom (!) of the last 12 months to bear on the blog.
