This is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture you can buy and I have found it in white, brown and black so it should suit all colour schemes although I will confess to rather loving the white one.
This will go at the end of the bed – as shown – although sadly I don’t have room for that in my bedroom – but it would also work well on a landing, or in a hall (that is wider than mine) as well as doubling up as a coffee table and extra seating at the kitchen table – it’s 45cm high, which is standard chair height.
It will, as all leather does, also improve with age as you move it around from room to room. Having now listed where I can’t fit one I would put one under the window in my office, in the library for extra books as well as in the loft where it would work as table, seating and storage.
The two top ones are 120cm long, this one above is 43cm so you can line them up as shown in the image above or use them as individual stools or bedside tables.
Like I said; it’s an incredibly versatile piece of furniture so…. if you buy one thing.
I agree that a bench is a very versatile item, but I’d much rather go for plain wood: it will be sturdier, match any colour scheme better, will adapt much easier as a coffee table (sturdier (leather bends and moves), no cracks for i.e. an earring to fall through, better stain resistance should you spill something. And if you’re a proud mother of one or three cats, wood has slightly better chances not to serve as a nail sharpener.
