Navy Quilted Chair

navy blue quilted chair from french connection

Like many of you I have been conducting a secret flirtation with navy blue – secret only because I still love grey – but the site of this chair means I may have to confess all and bring my affair into the open.

It’s navy, it’s quilted with dark wood and I love it and I want it. It costs £350 from French Connection home and it’s part of the new Autumn/Winter 014 collection.

The company call it part of their soft industrial range, I call it urban glamour but whatever label you give it, it’s just a great chair. The rest of the range includes rugs, table and the bottle chandelier pictured above.

I’m also rather keen on the brass pendant of the bistro range which includes this wall light. I have been pondering wall lights for the kitchen for some time. I hate the ubiquitous spot/down lighters and was wondering if a long-armed wall light at either end of the worktop (with perhaps a couple of spots in between) would do the job. This one is £95 and I shall definitely be visiting the store to check it out IRL.

Above are a few of the other hits from the new collection. I hope you like it.
