As I prepare the spare room for this week’s influx of guests, I realise that, once again, there’s no hanging space. And parents do tend to arrive with things that need hanging don’t they?

Anyway, then I found this. A simple iron pole powder coated in either black or grey with two adjustable leather straps.

use either in the kitchen or the guest room

A brilliant idea for the guest room, it costs £149 and you can take it down when not in use or leave it hanging there like a work of art. Or, if your spare room doubles up as an office, as ours does, what about using it over the desk.

use the pole either for clothes or as part of a work station

Or, never mind the clothes, what about using it in the kitchen as styled in the top picture?

The pole is 135cm long and the height can be adjusted from 87 to 107cm.

Now that’s another brilliant thing I need to have. Just as well it’s Christmas really.
