When it comes to decorating the table, simple is best in my book. And, as much as I love flowers, they don’t really last long and, let’s be honest, they do tend to look better in the garden or field don’t they?

So I think these pots are a great idea. A couple of these on the table with the herbs from the kitchen window sill and the table looks instantly better. And, if you wanted to be a little cheffy about it, you could put a pair of scissors and suggest your guest snip their own garnish onto their plates.

They’re intended to hide those ugly red or black pots that many plants come in and, given that many supermarket herbs don’t seem to last long, it’s not worth replanting them, so stick them in these and we all know who’s your uncle.
