Objects of Design #166: Skipperling Mirror

I rather love this simple little hand mirror from Anthropologie. It’s all very well having a mirror on a wall but sometimes it’s handy to be able to pick one up and have a good old peer. Or perhaps that’s just me, as without my glasses and with the width of a basin between me and the mirror, I find it increasingly hard to see much. Which, on balance isn’t necessarily a bad thing at 7am, but it’s good to be able to aim the mascara brush at the eyelash rather than just ramming it into the eye.

This has a butterfly on the back which acts as both handle and stand should you need two hands for the job. I am very tempted to buy this object of design. Very tempted indeed. It costs £28 by the way.
