Objects Of Design #167: Personalised Clock

Add your details to the clock

In addition to Radio 4, my bathroom absolutely must have a clock. It must have clear numbers – I can’t be worrying if it’s in the vague direction of the 7 or the 8  – and it must be large as I wear glasses and I can’t be squinting through the steam. This, then, at 495mm x 495mm ticks (ha ha) both those boxes. It can also be personalised. Now I’m not usually a fan of this mania for plastering one’s name or cutesy phrases over everything, but I have to admit I would quite like the name of my road in place of a company name and the name of my quiet suburb on a clock. It’s about personalising the unexpected rather than the conventional.
