Objects of Design #179: Folding Wooden Clothes Horse

A wooden clothes horse is always useful and this is a particularly fine example. Keep it folded and prop it against a wall and it works like a ladder for draping towels and clothes and then you can unfold it if you need to dry laundry or hang more towels for guests.

Yes I know you can buy a plastic one more cheaply but this one looks nicer. And we are talking about objects of design after all. Mind you, I have had several cheaper plastic ones that have all bent out of shape or collapsed so this one might actually turn out to be a wise investment after all.

This one is from Not on the High Street  and costs £130.
