Objects of Design #247: Tan Cowhide Rug

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of monochrome but I do like my black and white to be warmed up a little. Sometimes with splashes of soft pink, often with lots of natural textures such as wood, linen and cashmere.

I have a black and white cowhide rug in my library where I love the grey/black and white tones that are lifted by the books and the touches of pink.

But then I look at this warm tan cowhide and suddenly that’s what I want; monochrome colours warmed up a little for winter. And I quite like that little knitted stool too.
