You all know that I do love a bit of wallpaper and when some samples from new UK company, A Shade Wilder, fell through my letterbox the other day, I was smitten. I couldn’t choose just one so here are this week’s Five Finds.

Based in Lancashire, this is the company’s first collection and includes wallpapers, cushions and candles for customers who, they say, are not just led by trends.

This comes in both black with delicate silver fish as well as the colours below.

This gorgeous fish paper has a delicate silver sheen and I love the colours of soft grey blue and coppery orange.

Sticking with the animal theme, this gorgeous black, white and grey bird paper was also hard to resist. It’s a very up to date mix of metallic and flock.

Next up, who can resist a monkey? This is called Monkey Business and comes in a range of colours with monkeys in soft flock or glittering metallic purple.

Colours include bright orange, yellow and green as well as monochrome. From a distance it appears as a simple pattern but when you approach you see the individual animals.

Back to the birds for our fourth choice, and this time it’s a flamingo. The birds have a soft sheen which contrasts well with the matt background and, at only £40, a roll this is great value.

You might want to call in a professional to help with the pattern match on this one though.

Finally, moving away from wallpaper but sticking to the animal theme, the company also has a great range of cushions which cost £25 each. The perfect way to ring the changes for winter.

Since I posted this, there have been a few inquiries about delivery, so I’m adding the information below, which the company sent me (bear in mind that the US measures in inches so it’s worth having a proper conversation about how much you need). Shelley Holmes , a twitter friend, told me a story of a friend of hers who ordered a coffee table from a Belgian company. She sent the measurements in feet, which they misread as metres. It is, apparently big enough for three people to lie on.
