Objects Of Design #332: Laundry Bag

It looks like a brown paper bag but it’s actually made from recycled water resistant plastic. It’s a clever idea for a laundry bag as it enables you to see at a glance whether you’ve got enough for a full white wash or if the darker colours are winning out. But, that aside, it’s just added a bit of wit to something which is usually so dully practical.

It’s 60cm high so there’s plenty of room, has a couple of carrying handles and could actually be used as a recycling bag for paper and plastic etc. More stylish than the usual black and green buckets that’s for sure.

  1. This might well suit the specialists in floordrobes I seem to have bred! It’s wonderful!
