I have never lived in a house with a hall wide enough for any furniture but, there is a good argument for using the wall as a reminder for those last minute things you might have forgotten. These chalkboard stickers cost £20 each and you can either have them personalised with each person’s name as they have done here, or perhaps with days of the week so you know that on Mondays you need to leave the house with one guitar, two PE kits and a plant pot and come home via the dentist. It’s tidier than fridge magnets with dozens of scrappy bits of paper piling up.
