Beautiful plates will bring a smile to the table and even if you can’t afford a whole dinner’s worth of fabulous crockery then having some for pudding or cheese, or as the side plates for bread, will dress everything up. I chose the butterflies in honour of Damien Hirst’s Retrospective at The Tate but I was also very tempted by these, which I think he would also love:
