I have long been a fan of the idea of bringing the outdoors in and this lamp reverses that idea to take the indoors out. So, while we’re in Ikea why not buy these and create an outdoor sitting room with comfy chairs and lamps that look like they belong in the house. These are solar powered. There are other versions which cost about about 4000 per cent more ( try the Flos Super Archimoon Outdoor for around £8,000 – yes really which is why I am showing you this version).

Looking for the #68 solvinden solar table lamp not sold at ikea anymore. Need to know how much and where I can buy them. Please advise. I am in portland, oregon. Advise if there is a place to buy here as ikeas no longer sell them.

Yes it’s a great lamp isn’t it and a real shame they have discontinued it. I would think the only thing you can do is hope one turns up on ebay.
