Objects Of Design #76: Personalised Swing

Childhood memories

Who doesn’t love a swing? They’re not just for children you know. There’s something deliciously carefree about sitting on a swing and rocking back and forth – preferably keeping ones feet on the ground and holding a glass of something chilled at the same time. Try it sometime. I once nearly bought a house because it came with a swing in the garden and I was completely seduced by the idea. (Note to self – good house-selling tip – install swing?).

This one can be personalised, as you can see, if you fancied a whole extra dimension, and cost, to your swing. Although instead of names you can add some uplifting words or somesuch whimsy. £214.95

  1. I just love the fact that this swing will be around for years and that it’ll only improve in looks and attractiveness the older it gets! Life as a swing hey!
