It’s really hard to find an outdoor pizza oven that a) isn’t the size of a small house and b) costs less than £1,000. This outdoor wood-fired oven may be the solution. The stand is optional, although it does make a handy space for storing the wood.

According to Lakeland, it will handle almost everything your indoor oven can and is fully made in the UK. The oven is fully lined with heatproof bricks that retain the heat which, they claim, means you can make a full roast dinner and then slow cook a casserole with the left over heat. Which leaves me with two questions – one, can I have one and two, why haven’t we all got one?

The chimney means that it never gets too smoky and there’s also a temperature guage so you know when it’s time to start cooking. The set includes baking shelf bricks, stainless steel grill racks and a pizza shovel.

And finally, doesn’t this look tempting? Well, not if you’re vegetarian obviously but you can look at the pizza picture above.
