Private Viewing: Celebrity Living Rooms

Last week, Mad About The House brought you some celebrity kitchens to gawp at. This week, as we have now reached the lounging about stage of holidays, here are some celebrity living rooms. Those of you who attended last week will remember that we closed with Sting and Trudie Styler’s 18th century London townhouse kitchen. Today (for symmetry) we open with the sitting room of the same house. And yes, before you ask that is a real Picasso and a Matisse or three.

Joshua Bell, for those of you not in the know, is a classical violinist. He may not be a celebrity in the sense that you were thinking of when you clicked this link, but there’s no denying he has great living space and look how his sofas even echo the shape of a violin.

And this to Courtney Cox.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick recently put their New York home on the market for $18m. This is the sitting room (for more pictures click here )

Admit it, this is not what you were expecting from the Hollywood Hills home of comic actor Ben Stiller.

This monochrome room belongs to Cher. The rug is described as “zebra print” so that’s all right then.
